Walked Cedar Ridge today and Mother Nature’s wrath has befallen this outstanding track. Two winter ice storms have given over one thousand trees a buzz cut, lopping off branch after branch. Another body blow was delivered last Thursday as a torrential downpour had the creeks overflowing.

Trip stats: Tallied my fuel costs from LA to Tulsa and it came to $199.47 at just a fraction under 28 mpg. Not bad considering all the junk I haul around. I’ll put on another 1200+ miles next week on the way to Williamsburg.
