Played a practice round with Jeong Jang and Sun Young Yoo. Giddy as schoolgirls they were, all day long.
More geek work: This time it was Jaybird’s and Motorcycle’s laptops on the fritz. Jay has a propensity of fiddling in places he has no business in and a system restore made everything right once again. Jim’s was a different story altogether. Just laying my magic hands upon his ghost machine put in working order.
A bird in the … A regional jet, loaded with players and loopers from The Open in Minneapolis, was hit head on in the nosecone by a large bird (some swore it was a pterodactyl) and aborted the takeoff but all is well. No harm, no fowl.

How do the players feel about 3-day tournaments vs. 4-day tournaments?

How long does it take to adjust to a new player? To know if they have a given shot ‘in the bag’? Ability to work the ball either way?
You seem to mention ‘practice’ more now than before.

Most, if not all, would rather forego the two day pro-ams and have four day events Kim. It’s a better test of their skills. The major complaint in the past was repairing after the first day because you could get two afternoon times which means bumpy greens both days. That is why we don’t repair on three day events but it’s not fan friendly in my opinion. Having the leaders go head-to-head the final two rounds is what they want to see.
