State Farm Classic – Round two

My Player Is Moira Dunn

One more under to our total but lost ground. It’s a birdie-fest out here.

Big storm moving in. They finished just in time.

To be fair: Didn’t mean to group all the Euro-caddies into one lot with my last post. Some were just appalled by their compadres behavior as I was when they learned of it. Something will be said.

100 and counting! That’s how many LPGA tournaments Dave Hamada has attended but the kicker is, he’s volunteered in 47! Dave will be working the floating scoreboard, which separates the ninth and eighteenth hole, this week. Every time Dave pays us a visit, someone has to scrounge up a ticket for him, which is a shame. Hey Commish, how about a special credential for the LPGA’s biggest fan?

Something in the water? Stacy P is also with child. Plans to play the rest of the year.

That hurts: After making the turn yesterday at two under par, my former loop, Birdie Kim, whacked three OB on then tenth for a nine and followed it with a double. Wiped out the seven birdies she carded for the day.

Sign of the times: Two homes bordering the ninth hole are sporting the same sentiment. No need to say more.

    Something in the water?

    Or a *really* good party??

  2. Cougar says:

Wonderful to see the marine salute the flag when receiving it from a caddy, and also when replacing it back in the hole. Also nice to see the applause every time it occurred on 9 and 18. There are many patriots here in Springfield.

  3. Awsi Dooger says:

Sandra Gal during the Friday telecast said it was her caddie who drove the wrong way.

Tom Abbott brought up the topic, initially in a light tone as the winning caddie was shown on TV, but once Gal provided the details Abbott was green lighted to say others were, “none too pleased.”
