Went to the course for lunch and some stimulation conversation. At least I got the lunch.

The rumor mill says that this will be the last year for the Safeway sponsorship in Portland and Evian will become a Major by 2013. It also says I may be the next Powerball winner. Hold on. That was a fortune cookie.

    Moving the tee up on #2 was not a success. With heavy air and a cross wind slightly hurting, only six players went for the green, according to one of the rules officials. None of them put the drives on the green.

    It must have rained hard only on holes 1 and 13. Those were the holes where lift, clean, place were in effect, although several players reported mud on balls on the 6th hole. Probably happened on other holes also.
