Not Today

Plenty of players on the tee sheet but no one got out. The next three days look good but rain expected on Saturday.

Looks like my Chrome browser was the problem not the LPGA home page. A reinstall stopped it from crashing. Still don’t like the blue on blue format. Needs more contrast. Also, I’m hearing complaints that too many clicks are necessary to get to the pertinent information for the current event. Either that or they’re too hard to find.

Too much blue. Too many clicks, and senseless changes everywhere. Stats is another example. Previously the first page showed the top 30 in each category. Then you could click “View Full List” and it actually showed everybody, first to last. imagine that. Basic, and easily readable, black on white.

Now the term “View All” doesn’t carry literal meaning. It provides 1-50. Then you are forced to click again for 51-100, and then again for 101-138.

Absolutely ridiculous. There’s no way to view every name in one scroll.

There are countless changes on that site that should be switched back but corporations never immediately concede that they screwed up. Most likely some kid with a design background was put in charge of something that he had no knowledge of, and no business being involved in. Golfers only please.

The new LPGA website is very inefficient. The page takes forever to load, you can’t find scoring and asyou said there are too many clicks to find where you want to go. I used to go there once or twice a day to see what if anything was going on but now it is a waste of my time. They need to start over.

    Hello
As Larry and other veterens know the LPGA hires people at “entry level pay” As i told Pam Wright , when I asked for a raise….You Pay Peanuts you Get Monkies…. (PS I got the raise)

Here is the Feedback address for the new website: fixit@lpga.com

I’ve already given them a bit of spray about the blue colour and some other stuff including technical problems that I have. It can take up to 8 minutes for the web page to load using Internet Explorer(IE) 8, and also stop the computer completely by using 100% CPU.

They replied admitting that they are having problems with some versions of IE.

I would encourage you to contact them and let them know your views and suggestions.

I just had the LPGA Home page load within 30 seconds. But what it did, was not display at all until it was fully downloaded. So the previous web page that I was looking at remained on the screen, even though in the LPGA address appeared in the Address Bar, and the various list of files loading was occurring in the bottom left corner task bar.

    • never had a problem with the new lpga website ozz, maybe the time change has your computer messed up..lol

      • Ozz says:

Nah. Nothing wrong with puta AJC, no problem with PGA Tour, European Tours Men & Ladies websites.

LPGA have admitted having problems with loading problems, here’s their reply:

“Thank you for all the detailed information. We are trying to troubleshoot these load issues. They seem to be associated with specific versions of IE so your detailed description will help us a LOT”.

The new LPGA website sucks. They lost about 8 visits a week from me alone. Who knows how many other people are staying away.

You guys must be retired and have lotta free time on ur hands if ur bitchin bout some website. It’s all good tho. Bitch on, pops!

If the LPGA wants fans to access their info it should be better than this. Web design on this magnitude costs tens of thousands of dollars. They should at least get their money’s worth. Should have had a more thorough beta test.

    • Ozz says:

Hey Barb, when you can’t access the Leader board on their own website because its Home Page won’t load or it takes 8 minutes, you go elsewhere to find that info, which is what I have done.

Like Frank, I would access the website at least once a day. At present, it’s once a week if that when I do have time on my hands.

Talked to heather Daly-Donofrio today. They want feedback on how to improve the site. If they don’t know what’s broke they can’t fix it.
