Larry, I do not know if you are going to post a blog about Chad’s win at Pumpkin Ridge, but I felt compelled to write a few words about it. Chad is one of the many good guys that I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with during my years caddying on the LPGA Tour. They had the microphone in his face quite a few times during Sundays telecast. He did a great job of keeping his player relaxed and focused. I know he has paid his dues during all the years he’s been on tour. You can chalk this one up for "the good ole boys" …. Congratulations, Chad, on a job well done.
Also, kudos to "Motorcycle Jim" for adding another year to his life calendar last Friday. Happy belated birthday!
That hurts: After playing four straight weeks in Europe under lift-clean-and-place conditions, a player to remain nameless, told her caddie to make sure she didn’t do it in Portland. After getting yardage on a hole, he turned to find she did just that! Missed the cut by a shot. Ouch!
