Batten Down The Hatches

The whole town is getting ready for Isaac. Stores are running low on provisions and some petrol stations are dry. We buttoned-up the clubhouse and are holding fast.

Out of ruck: From an anonymous looper – In the caddie tent Sunday morning, the wife of Ko’s caddie asked me if Ko should win, would she be able to accept the first place money. No, was the answer and she was quite shaken with the news. That would mean her husband (the local club champion) would probably not get paid very much. I hated to burst her bubble. Yeah right!  –

Talk about pressure. The looper for one of the top Asia player’s was given a quite an ultimatum in Canada. If they didn’t win, he’d be looking for future employment. Obviously, they didn’t and he’s out. Funny thing though. I heard a different guy was set for a two week trial even before the event was over. Of course, that was probably contingent on her Canadian performance.

I bet the Club Captain/Caddie knew that there would be no winners check, but most likely did not tell the wife or else he probably would not have been allowed to caddie. I’m sure the agreed rate for the week would have been acceptable.

When foreigners aren’t cheating, they’re treating their caddies like crap. Why any caddie would want to work for a foriegn player is beyond me. The thanks the caddies get for keeping quiet about all the cheating they’ve seen their players do is to get kicked to the curb!

Can the same be done to Barbara that was done to Truther – Please

    Barbara, Your logic is illogical?

Let’s analyze your first sentence, “When foreigners aren’t cheating, they’re treating their caddies like crap.”

Okay, now we’ve established that foreigners don’t always cheat (just like the Americans)

Now, let’s analyze your second sentence, “Why any caddie would want to work for a foriegn (< you misspelled foreign here Barbara and your name even means foreign) player is beyond me.

Barbara, no one here cares what is beyond you, in front of you, behind you, or for that matter, on you.

Okay, now for your third sentence, "The thanks the caddies get for keeping quiet about all the cheating they've seen their players do is to get kicked to the curb!

Barbara, Barbara, Barbara, you had just established in your first sentence that the foreigners were not cheating (at least not any more than the Americans) so why would a caddie have to "keep quiet" about not cheating?

So if a foreign player has an American caddie, and he/she keeps quiet about any cheating, doesn't that mean that the American caddie is also cheating by keeping quiet?

So by default you are now calling American caddies cheaters? Isn't this contrary to your theory that no Americans cheat, Barbara?

You never answered Ozz about your cheating American Lance Armstrong, Barbara???

You don't make any sense Barbara – Please go away…
