In honor of Ian McGregor who passed away while caddying at the Madeira Open two weeks ago, the men’s European Tour has asked that caddies/players worldwide wear black on Thursday this week.
Mac’s funeral will be held in Portugal on that same day. The tribute will be called “Black Mac Day” because Mac always made a point of wearing a lot of black. He was the first caddie to pass away while doing his job at a professional tournament.
