Just when you think you’re out …

August 15, 2014

… they pull you back in. Of course, it was consensual.

I will be officially on the Beau’s payroll as of the 28th of this month. It’ll take us a few days to organize and break-in a fresh face so Fallen Oak will not open for play until Sept. 5th.

Everyone was rehired except Dale. He had moved on to greener pastures about three weeks ago. Atlanta I heard.

Caddie life can be physically demanding. Miles of toting a golf bag each day can take its toll, especially on one’s back, but even the littlest thing can trigger a debilitating affliction. Colin Cann, Paula Creamer’s caddie, discovered that this week. He was putting down a chalk line on the practice green for Paula when pain brought him to his knees. It was his back. Obviously he’s not working. Who knows how long he’ll be out of action.

Creamer missed the cut at +6. I’m sure her mind was elsewhere.

Looks like Lydia Ko has decided on a caddie for the rest of ’14. Greg Johnston, a veteran looper, is a wise choice. Started with her in Ark.
