A repeat of yesterday. –1 for the day.
Bully sprung for a couple Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandys after the round in the clubhouse. They went straight to my head and were soooo good.
We played with Numa Gulyanamitta the last two days. Yesterday she couldn’t find the clubface. Today she had seven birdies on the front nine and shot four under. Not enough to make the cut unfortunately. That’s golf.
Short course again. I have a feeling it won’t be the same tomorrow.
The starter on the first tee was sporting a decent growth of beard. We discovered his goal was to be one of the three thousand or so certified members of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas. At least eight inches from the nose to the end of the beard is the minimum.
I stopped at the Corner cafe in Stanwood for breakfast and got an egg, sausage and cheese on rye to go. Outstanding! The sausage patty was as big as a saucer. I asked if they were open tomorrow and they were but not until eight. So I made that my goal. Play well enough to have a sit-down breakfast at the Corner Cafe.
For fifty bucks a night you would thing the outhouse I’m staying at would have daily linen service. No such luck. The good news is that last evening was bed bug free, the AC was quiet given it’s an antique and I got a good night’s sleep.
Had dinner down the street at the Moe-Z-Inn. Very good. Thee place to visit in Morley.
