Louis Has Left Us

On Wednesday morning at 3:30 am, our dear brother Louis McIntosh passed away peacefully. For all you who knew Louis, you knew that he had the enviable knack of always making us laugh. To be caddying at his age was a feat that most of us could not understand.

His wife Sue asked me to make this announcement but she will be posting sometime in the near future. She has asked that in lieu of sympathy cards or flowers, you can make a donation to the Kidney Foundation in Louis’s name.

Louis’s family was his only priority on the back nine of his life.  Please keep Louis’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

Respectfully,

Chuck Parisi

Anyone who has any good Louis story’s, please take the time to express them here. I have told his family to check Larry’s site often to read up on all the goodness and happiness that Louis brought each week on tour. Thanks

I stayed with Louis at the beautiful capital city motel in springfield my rookie year 23 years ago. Drug addicts on one side and prostitutes on the other. 70 dollars for the week. Thats 35 a guy…. I thought it could not get any worse. Lou thought it was a ok place and then started laughing. He started telling me stories about being a black man living in the 50 s and 60 s . The capital city motel did not seem that bad after hearing those stories. He was a great man

How you be? That is the greeting I will always remember from Louis. He was a hipter before it was cool. He was a fine man. R.I.P. Louis.
