More Happy Trails and Golf Stuff

April 18, 2018

I took to the trails solo once again. This time I went up the Mike Schuler Trail and down the Bump and Grind Trail. It was an easy accent and steeper on the return. Everyone seemed to be going the other way. Next time, so will I.

While descending, I heard someone to my rear so I moved to the side as always but this time it wasn’t a hiker. A guy on a mountain bike flew past while thanking me for the road. Just a bit scary.

According to Donna Earley, Natalie Gulbis is planning another tribute to Greg Sheriden on Tuesday during the Kingsmill event.

Julieta Granada has qualified two weeks in a row. Scores were high this week. Very windy and they sped up the greens quite a bit.

The word is that the Hugel-JTBC LA Open will be held at Wilshire Country Club the next couple years. An earlier rumor had it moving to Hawaii.

For safety reasons, internal out of bounds will be designated right of hole #3 and to the right of hole #17 at Wilshire this week.
