As one pro-am team finished their round on the downwind, short par four ninth hole, a big hitter behind them landed his tee ball on the green resulting in a near miss. The pro did not take that lightly. She went back down the fairway and gave the guy a talking to. One of the volunteers said he did it on the first hole also.
I’m hearing of more visa applications for China being rejected for minor mistakes. Nightmare!
Welcome to the USA. Not! One looper didn’t make it back in the country, after working another event in Canada, following the CN stop. Someone said it was because he flew there but was driving back. That doesn’t make much sense. Any thoughts?

Life on Tour 
Firstly, it would depend if the looper was international (non US or Canadian). Depending on where he flew from when he entered Canada and what story he told Officials on entry. If he is International, maybe his visa was not in order to enter USA.
My experience being Aussie with Green Card, Canadian Officials always gave me a hard time when entering, whether flying or driving. Fropwned on Internationals with US Green Card. I was always welcomed back into the USA with open arms.
That’s my view.
You writing about other peoples misfortunes also makes no sense but you continue to do it without finding out facts first.
Let’s hope you never have any problems when you come to Europe for your holiday that involves working without the correct paperwork.

You just don’t get it. The name of this blog is Life on Tour. I write about what happens out here. The good and the bad. Do you email your local news and complain about them writing about others misfortunes? BTW, when I do go to Europe, I always say I’m there to caddie.
I would venture to say that 75% of all non american caddies on the lpga tour are technically ilegal…when they enter the us I doubt non american caddies state they are going to work…” I’m here on vacation and get stamped for a 6 month stay”….isn’t that the norm. And the fact non american caddies are working for non american players doesn’t matter..hope i’m politically correct.
Hmmm…I thought the time limit was 90 days (3 mos) not 6 mos for those on ‘vacation.’
Hopefuly the Albany event is just going to be shifted in time and not “lost” entirely. The article mentioned the tour is looking for a new event (closer to Florida) for the final event of the season. That would make sense logistically. I also heard that the event here in Concord may be moved from late July to late May or early June.

When did Shin become eligible for the Solheim Cup?

Shin, currently the world number five in women’s golf, had been scheduled to compete in the Navistar LPGA Classic in Alabama from September 15-18 and the Solheim Cup in Ireland from September 23-25.
“Shin will miss these events… we will decide whether or not to cancel other tournaments in the future depending on her condition by the end of the week,” a SEMA spokesman told AFP.
The key phrase is “according to her agent” which reveals quite a bit.
