Broke me in easy. Played the back nine before the qualifier. Physically, I weathered it well but dropped the driver head cover twice before putting it in the bag, dropped the towel once and the lost the hybrid cover altogether (a converted shamrock laden putter cover) with three holes remaining. “Coffee Joe” caught a couple of my strays and the group behind picked up the other.

I kept looking for the golf cart ala Fallen Oak. No such luck.

There was a line of players on the first tee waiting to follow the qualifiers after they made the turn. Given that it took them 2:50 to do that, finishing in the dark is a good possibility.

What’s old is new: “Motorcycle” was donning a pair of shorts that haven’t seen the light of day in decades. They were from the line of clothing Worth Blackwelder was hawking 23 years ago!
